Aims and Scope
Journal of Intercultural Communication (JICC) (ISSN 1404-1634) is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by ICR Publications Ltd ↗. The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarship in communication, culture, and intercultural communication through high-quality theoretical, empirical, methodological, and interdisciplinary research. JICC welcomes original research articles, theoretical and experimental studies, systematic reviews, conceptual papers, and case studies that contribute to understanding communication across diverse cultural, social, organizational, educational, political, and digital contexts. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research in Communication, Cultural Studies, Education, Linguistics and Language, Strategy and Management, Intercultural Management, Organizational Culture, Gender Studies, Public Administration, Innovation, Migration Studies, Sustainability, Media and Digital Communication, and related fields.
APC and Publication Policy
All articles are published in the JICC with Gold open access. If the authors are supported by a research grant, an institutional open-access fund, paid by the institution, or a sponsoring organisation, the Open Access and Article Processing Charge (APC) is £1600 (excluding VAT). Otherwise, for the Self-paid, the journal’s Open Access and Article Processing Charge (APC) is £1200 (excluding VAT).
